Teens are naturally intuitive and have the capacity to understand and develop this valuable way of perceiving and relating to their inner and outer experiences. Being able to interpret the information available to them and use energy management skills for establishing and maintaining grounding, life force energy, and energetic boundaries can lead to an increased sense of empowerment, greater resilience, as well as an overall sense of connectedness and wellbeing. Cassie Stirman BS, MIM an Academy teacher, has worked with children and teens throughout her life. She has served as a leader on the Richardson Bay Girl Scout Service Unit Team for over 10 years, organizing and running a leadership program for teens. She is certified in Mindfulness and Meditation for Adolescents and Children. Cassie is a mother of three, all of whom have attended classes at the Academy. Her oldest son graduated from MIM 36 Class of 2022.and is currently training to be a Teaching Assistant.
