Sat, April 17 • Animal Communication: In Sickness and In Death • Barbara Reed, MIM

For those of us who are in deep communion with our pets, we know that emotionally they are very like humans. There can be some differences however when ill or transitioning toward death. During this workshop, we will discuss how we can help our pets, and ourselves, through these difficult times.

Topics for discussion include:

  • The importance of objectivity and boundaries
  • What healing energy to use and when to utilize it
  • The role of your veterinarian
  • Your role as an animal communicator, energy healer

The class is comprised of discussion and healing work. Please bring pictures of animals that are seriously ill, have passed over, or are soon to. Pictures are best if they show the pet during the illness or close to death. Note: this is not a class about medical intuition; we will be working with the spiritual and emotional aspects of the topic.

Barbara Reed has more than 20 years of experience as an animal communicator and energy healer. Her approach with animals is to the spiritual and emotional sides, working to understand what causes changes to behavior, what happened in the early formative years of the animal’s life, end of life, and the animal’s needs and desires.

Do you or a client have a stubborn health issue that you haven’t been able to resolve? In this workshop, you will learn some ways to think outside the box to help find solutions to long-standing problems. Oftentimes we are looking so hard at what we think is the problem that we can’t see what is underneath it which actually may be the root cause. In the practice of Energy Medicine if only the symptoms are treated without addressing the root cause, those as well as other symptoms may return.

We will cover:

  • A brief introduction to chakras as they relate to the organ/meridian theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine including areas of the body that they relate to and possible symptoms.
  • Internal (emotional) and external (physical agents) causes of dis-ease according to Traditional Chinese Medicine theory and how they might be the underlying cause of dysfunction.
  • Questions to ask to determine possible root causes or contributing factors associated with time of day, time of year, diet, lifestyle, life traumas, and relationships.
  • Suggestions on how to use this information to resolve the issues.

The afternoon session will cover:

  • Various ways to muscle test for use in your work and life to confirm decisions or access information.
